Beware...of places that claim to import Irish puppies on a regular basis. There are people who actually call themselves breeders on the east coast (mid Atlantic region) who buy puppy loads in bulk from a particular broker in Ireland and then sell them to unsuspecting families.  These puppies aren't raised in the home; they are all in stalls out in a barn segregated by age.  They are sold to this broker for about $200 and then are sold to unsuspecting families for $1,250-$2,200. When buying a puppy without a pedigree, you have no way of knowing how it may turn out. If the breeder did not go to Ireland themselves to select the puppies be aware that you may be purchasing an Irish bred mutt.

If you would like more specific information on this please contact me. I have photographs and video footage connecting specific "breeders" to Irish puppy mills.
